1. Open Session
a. Flag Salute
b. Establishment of Quorum Diane Bateman Christy Miro Scott McNurlin Timothy Randall Jenny Eltringham

2. Public Comment At this time, any person may address the Board on Closed Items issues within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Board. Pursuant to the Brown Act, the Board will take no action or have discussion on any item not appearing on the posted agenda, except as authorized by law. The Board may ask clarifying questions or make statements regarding the input when all speakers have concluded.

Speakers will be limited to 3 minutes per individual for a total of no longer than 20 minutes per topic. Speakers shall state their first and last name at the start of their input. The speaker shall not be interrupted by either the public or the Board except reminders to adhere to board policy on public comment.

While providing input regarding employees, policies, procedures, services, or actions, the public shall refrain from using personal identifying information. In the case of public criticism of district employees, the Board president or school administrator shall inform the complainant of the appropriate complaint procedure.

Expulsion while still in elementary school? This makes me sad thinking this kid's future already predetermined without extraordinary intervention. Hoping there were not other children hurt mentally and/or physically from his or her behavior.

    Mark Twain goes up to 8th grade.
    Some of those "kids" are 14/15 year old.

      Just cuz little Johny brought a 45 to school in his backpack and pointed it at the teacher, he shouldn't be expelled. Its called a "learning experience" and little Johny should be allowed to stay. We wouldn't want to stifle his freedom in any way. Just do what you want Johny, no problem. No discipline needed, just expressing his feelings. Okay?
