Shrimpin Rotary Style....The 2008 Angels-Murphys Rotary Annual Shrimp Feed Filled Murphys Park on Saturday! We have the photos and video
Murphys, CA...The Annual Shrimpfest filled Murphys Park on Saturday Night. The Angels Murphys Rotary Club threw another great party for the good causes they support. One to the primary beneficiary's of the community's largess this year will be the Murphys Pool and It's renovation project. Musical entertainment was provided by "Plan B." This group includes Rotarian Jim Bailey on Drums and they kept the park rocking all night long. As usual at these events the crowd was filled with local movers and shakers... moving and shaking it. There were bankers, supervisors, candidates, councilmen, developers and more, mixing and mingling. It was another idylic event in the park. The stream was gurgling by and even adults took off their shoes and soaked their toes in in the cool stream on the this balmy summer evening.
Someone recently told me that life is a collection of moments...This was definitely one of those "Moments". Great Job Rotarians...See Ya Next Year
