Fundraising for Zerrall McDaniel....Video from Saturday Night's Event Enclosed
San Andreas, CA...A good sized crowd filled the Metropolitan in San Andreas Saturday Night. They were gathered to show their support for Calaveras County District I Candidate, Zerrall McDaniel. We are heading down the home stretch and all of the local election activity is really picking up steam. The Calaveras Supervisors races are increasingly becoming seen as county wide races. The only voters who can vote for a particular candidate are the residents of a district however Supervisorial Decisions affect all the residents of the county. In District One according to...
2001 numbers has almost 8,700 residents and approximately 21% of the population of Calaveras County. This District encompasses San Andreas and Valley Springs.
Attending Saturday Night were numerous local residents, community group leaders, business owners and politicians. Supervisor Chair Steve Wilensky and Outgoing District One Supervisor Bill Claudino were also in attendance.
Zerrall's opponent in this race is Gary Tofanelli. Many expect this contest to be a hard fought battle all the way to November.
