Why have so many fallen for lies that are easily proven as false?
A common lie promoted by Republicans is that America was a Christian nation , this is easily disproven, yet this big lie is repeated often, and by the same people who say the 2021 election was a fraud. All evidence shows this is untrue, all 60 court cases were thrown out due to no evidence of any election fraud.
I believe the Evangelical Christian religions are a gateway into some minds to accept any fantastic con a loud promoter will push.
Today’s Republicans claim that America was founded as a Christian nation; the truth is that one of the most unique things about the “American experiment” was that we were the first explicitly secular nation in the history of the world.
The United States was the first country at that time in history to openly reject any role for religion, a prohibition that appears twice in our Constitution and repeatedly in the writings of the Founding generation . It's easily found in writings by the founding fathers of America's Constitution.

Hang on.. it seems to be working in a lot of cities. 'Defund' is a bad choice of words (although MTG is keen to 'defund the police if they are working for the FBI)
However, 'reallocating funding' so we don't send armed trigger happy people to deal with homelessness, or car accidents or to take reports after the fact... Surely programs like MACRO that send medical first responders, or traffic enforcement staff are the way to go. They a) don't carry guns so nobody gets killed, and b) they cost the city / county about 1/2 much as a full cop.
So I think that this is a brilliant move. What is a cop going to do at the scene of a routine car accident that a trained traffic enforcement agent can't do? Are cops better at calling tow trucks? better at first aid? Better at taking photographs?
I'm all for shrinking waste in the government. that includes Law Enforcement.

Trump didn't try to be a dictator, he protected our Constitution, our Bill of Rights. Look at Biden and the Dems trying to let illegal immigrants vote. Look at Biden using our FBI and DOJ as a Secret Police against any who oppose him. Look at Biden hiring 87,000 more it's Agents and now those agents must be armed! Notice how places like NYC are using the office of their District Attorney to go after Trump? She even ran on that as a promise to the voters, it's against the law to use their office for a hit job. Notice that they still have found nothing wrong? The FBI raid at Trump's home? That so far was a raid to find a crime, they didn't ( a journalist) name a whistle blower they just said a source, like maybe a friend of a cousins cousin ( BS)
Notice the DOJ is fighting against making public the warrant saying because it's under investigation? Well so is the Jan 6th Committee yet they have no problem talking about that, why ? Because it's a one sided witch hunt.
Besides, why kick everyone out of Trump's home during the raid? Why turn off Trump's security cameras? ( He said they didn't turn them off) because they didn't want witnesses, why?
Why are the DOJ and FBI letting Activist protest in front of our Conservative SCOTUS home and not enforcing the laws that protect them? They would if they were the homes of the liberal left SCOTUS homes? They even arrested one Activist who had a loaded gun who even said he was going to kill a Supreme Court Justice and his family, but Biden's Secret Police won't enforce their opponents right to not be harassed, or even if their lives are threatened.

Dems want to take all of that away, but not the Dems rights. Those politicians that want to Defund the Police I see in the news they get to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to hire private security, while the folks who voted for them, especially the ones in less desirable neighborhoods are dealing with skyrocketing crime. Those politicians are only hurting the poorer people in this nation why they have the $$$ to not worry.
