22 Year Old Mokelumne Hill Man Lost his Life in Collision off French Gulch Road
Murphys, CA...On July 23, 2022, preliminary investigation shows that Aidan D McGee, 22 from Mokelumne Hill was traveling west on French Gulch Road, west of Murphys Grade Road. For an unknown reason, he allowed his vehicle to cross into the eastbound lane and then off the roadway to the south. The vehicle then collided into a fence and a tree which caused major damage to the vehicle. After the impact, the vehicle came to rest facing in a south westerly direction.
He was transported from the scene to a nearby landing zone, however, Aidan succumbed to his injuries prior to being transported to a trauma center.
It is unknown at this time if drugs and/or alcohol contributed to this collision.
No further details are available at this time.
From all of us at ThePineTree.net our prayers are with his family and friends.

Let this poor family grieve.
Why make a stupid comment about DUI when it clearly states "It is unknown at this time if drugs and/or alcohol contributed to this collision?"
Sorry to the Family for their loss and sorry for the ignorant people of Calaveras County making stupid comments.

My good friend was with the deceased before the accident; alcohol was not a factor. Thank you John for removing those false judgmental comments.

Yes, thanks John for removing the negative comments. Please watch obituaries and block any ISP that continues to post stuff like that.

Thé best to Dan and Denise, this is such a tragedy! If you can’t make an uplifting comment, show some class and leave it alone! Nearly everyone of us has done something we regretted in our lives, Aidan never got the second chance, and whether drugs or alcohol we’re involved doesn’t and won’t make it better for Mom and Dad! Thank you!
