At the time this was written ,the language meant just that-All Men.
Not equal rights for women, the poor, non Whites.

Read the opinions , the tone, citing of laws, archaic as they are, is the Mecca for these revisionists.
Right wing coups are themed as what the Republicans are working for, they all have God,guns,loss of rights especially the press and women, add racism.
But the majority is against this. The Republicans willing to overthrow our Democracy is less than 40% , why should a minority rule the majority and regress over 240 years?
They should not, yet the SCOTUS is ruling as Democracy, voting , rights , our health are not to be considered, they rule omnipotently to control our lives.
