Traffic & Fire Update....(Update Now 250+ Acres) Electra Fire is 75 Acres and Growing, Localized Evacuations Underway
Electra, CA...(Update from Jackson Fire Dept...***UPDATE*** 5:45 Per Air Attack fire is 250+ acres with a moderate to dangerous rate of spread. 5:10pm Evacuation areas listed below Ponderosa Way, Butte Mountain, Amador Lane, Parts of Clinton Road. The Jackson Fire Department has 2 pieces of equipment on the Electra Fire. As of 4:30pm the fire is reported to be between 75-100 acres with a dangerous rate of spread. #electrafire Electra Fire 4:40 p.m. Full ground and air resource response to a vegetation fire in Amador County south of Jackson at Electra Road and Hwy 49. The fire is approximately 75 acres burning at a dangerous rate of spread in dry grass in North Fork of the Mokelumne River drainage. Evacuations are in progress.

Vox Beach/Electra Road (where this fire started), Big Bar and Middle Bar are all listed as recreation sites by EBMUD and PG&E for customers in the Valley to use, residents/rate payers.
