Admission decimates Joe Biden's talking point that Russian president Vladimir Putin caused inflation in U.S.
Majority of Americans blame Biden's policies for inflation, not Russia.
At the end of May, amid a flurry of scapegoating over surging prices and plunging approval ratings, President Biden seized on an Oval Office meeting with Fed Chair Powell to argue that while fighting price increases is his top priority, that work was primarily the purview of the Federal Reserve.
“My plan is to address inflation. That starts with a simple proposition: respect the Fed, respect the Fed’s independence, which I have done and will continue to do,” Biden said.
Addittionally, Biden placed the blame for Americans’ suffering squarely on the shoulders of Russian president Vladimir Putin and his ‘Putin Price Hike'.
As we have noted numerous times, this is just farcical spin as the following chart shows consumer prices were accelerating dramatically well before the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Democrat Chris Van Hollen of Maryland is having none of that at all as he affirmed Biden’s narrative during Powell’s hearing this morning, blaming the “three P’s” for inflation:
Putin’s war
Pandemic supply disruptions
Price gouging
And definitely not over-zealous and profligate spending and over-regulation by the Biden administration.
But, having thrown The Fed under the bus in May, it appeared Chair Powell was not going to take that lying down as he responded surprisingly honestly to a clearly politically-angled question (fact)…
Sen Bill Hagerty (R-TN) addressed the Biden narrative, noting that “the problem [of inflation] hasn’t sprung out of nowhere,” before asking Chair Powell the following question:
“Would you say that the war in Ukraine is the primary driver of inflation in America?”
Fed Chair Powell’s response – which we note was completely ignored by many mainstream media outlets who were writing real-time transcripts of the hearing – was shocking in its frankness:
“No. Inflation was high, certainly before the war in Ukraine broke out.”
Ouch! So ‘Putinflation’ is not real after all?
As for whether Biden’s “strategy” of punting all responsibility for everything that goes wrong with the economy onto others, first Putin and now Powell, works we’ll just have to wait until November to find out.

Most of Americans know Joe is to blame when his first day in office started the ball rolling to wipe out the Great Economy President Trump handed to him. If only Trump went out with class, but that's Trump.
What Biden has done to our Country is unbelievabe, it's almost like he's the Russian Agent, or he has a deal with China that will keep everyone of Biden's family rolling in hundreds of millions for eternity. How else can you explain taking a country that was in Great shape, respected and feared, keeping Peace through Strength, and reversing all of it, making America like a 3rd World Country who can't even feed their infants?
After what this administration has done we can only hope that one day voters will have to take an IQ test to vote in our Presidential Elections. Socialist voters obviously hate our country, our Bill of Rights, our Constitution, and since they're the majority in our prison system ( except for the ones liberal DA's set free by the thousands) hate our laws.

Retirement plans put on hold for millions of Americans. Those who are on retirement suffering under this administration's dozens of failures...thx to Biden's Dementia, his Administration's Disastrous Decisions, and their Dreams of Socialism.
The S&P 500, the broadest measure of U.S. stocks, is down 21%, the Nasdaq nearly 30% and the Dow 16% so far this year, and Americans are seeing the value of their retirement accounts dwindle along with the drops. Trillions upon Trillions of Dollars gone up in smoke.
President Trump handed Biden a Great, Stable Economy, America on top after years of being stagnant and Biden declares War on Big Oil and reversed or stopped anything everything President Trump approved, and this is what we have today, all because the Lefts hatred of a businessman calling them corrupt swamp creatures, and he's proved he's right, they are.

( Protest at a SCOTUS home is a federal crime) even threatens one telling him " you won't even see what hits you" many taking that as a bullet. Lo and behold a criminal is caught with a gun who had told LE that he was going to kill him and his family.
Our Dem DOJ won't prosecute protestors unless it's at a liberal SCOTUS home
Dem DA's won't prosecute any leftwing rioters of 2020 when dozens of citizens were murdered. Our VP and Biden even pleaded for violent protestors to send money to bailout violent criminals, no wonder violence is skyrocketing under our weak and pathetic administration.

DOJ says, if a Republican office is set on fire at night when no one is there, is that really a crime, no one was hurt?
Republicians attempted to again pass a bill written when the Sandy Hook Murders took place with parents of those kids and Schumer stopped the bill from happening and then blamed Republicans of not doing anything.
A Jan 6th panel trying to prosecute, as long as those prosecuted can't take the stand to defend themselves, like in Hitler's day, Stalin's days, or Putin's Russia, or in China where they're sent to political prisons and worked to death.
Dem Politicians encourage Activist to get in the face of any and all Republican politicians, their families face, their staff and harass them, tell them they're not welcomed anywhere
