Vitalant Blood Drive on Tuesday, March 29th
San Andreas, CA...Please join us for the Calaveras Community blood drive on Tuesday, March 29 from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. (Note extended hours) Located at the San Andreas Town Hall, 24 Church Hill Road, San Andreas, CA 95249. Parking is in back of the building. Donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment by going online: donors.vitalant.org and use blood drive code SMFM399 or call Vitalant at 877-258-4825 and mention blood code SMFM399.
Power Red Donations: The most common blood components transfused to patients are red cells. When you give a Power Red (also called double red) donation, you double the impact of your donation because you are giving two units of red cells.

Mask or face covering is required.
Please bring a photo I.D.
Eat a hearty iron-rich meal and drink plenty of water prior to donation (two to
three 8 ounce bottles of water two hours before donating).
16 year old’s must have a signed Vitalant parent consent form.

The Calaveras Community Foundation (CCF) is so proud to sponsor and support the Calaveras Community blood drives and has just celebrated 20 years of service to residents of Calaveras County. Since the CCF was founded, it has given away over $2.8 million to a variety of local organizations. Annually CCF provides for dozens of scholarships and last year awarded over $182,000.00 in grants to well deserving charities. Senior’s programs, food banks, etc. are typical grant winners.
