Domestic Violence Investigation Leads to Attempted Murder Charges for Groveland Man

Groveland, CA...On Monday February 21st at about 7:30 in the evening deputies responded to Clements Road in Groveland for a report of domestic violence. Once on scene, deputies spoke to a victim with multiple injuries who told Deputies 36-year-old Jordan Gaestel was intoxicated and had physically attacked her. The victim told deputies during an argument Gaestel punched her, held a knife to her throat, drug her by her hair, struck her with a frying pan and choked her to the point she lost consciousness. The victim said Gaestel told her she could not leave and threatened to kill her at different times throughout the incident, causing her to fear for her life. The victim was luckily able to escape to a neighboring residence where she called for help.

Deputies located Gaestel hiding upstairs at the location the crime had occurred. Gaestel was arrested and booked into the Dambacher Detention Center on charges of attempted murder, criminal threats, assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, kidnapping and infliction of violence on a domestic partner.

Domestic violence can be one of the most serious crimes we deal with in our community. Although our deputies primarily deal with physical abuse, other types of abuse are common and can be addressed through the help of family, community organizations and other social support. If you or someone you know is a victim of domestic violence encourage them to reach out and seek help! One great resource is the Center for a Non-Violent Community’s @CNVCSonora 24/hr. support line 209-533-3401, offering “Support safety planning and other resources.”

Typical democrat actions, hope they throw the book at the socialist supporter. Not like they do in socialist/ lib cities and let him out to continue his left cult actions.

Another day of embarrassment for Republicans.

Everytime we have a chance to act like a party of grownups, we blow it. Today was Elise Stefanik's turn to undermine the credibility of the GOP and our chances to retaking the house.

A decade ago, the notion of calling a president of the United States “unfit” in the wake of the most serious invasion in Europe since World War II would have been unthinkable for members of either party.

But Trump’s four years in office have changed all calculations of how politics can and should be conducted – even in a moment of war.

Trump himself went on Fox late Wednesday night to offer up his own armchair quarterbacking – and blame-assigning – of the situation. “Well, this is something that should have never happened,” he said. “This would not have happened during my administration. It wouldn’t have taken place and it wouldn’t have taken place right now.”

The perp was from Groveland *bleep*, but of course he may have had a trump flag on his truck too. Regardless, he is still standing with his Dick in his hand, right along with Biden doing the same!
