Many Mingled at the Chamber Mixer this Evening Hosted by The Enchanted Workshop ~By Hanna Alldrin
Murphys, CA....The Calaveras Chamber planned another successful mixer this evening. This month's event was held at the Enchanted Workshop in Murphys. Fabulous wines were provided by Twisted Oak winery. Owner Jeff Stai shared, "its fine wine." Labels on the tasteful wine bottles read "#%#&@!." How twisted is that?.....

For those of you who don't know what a Calaveras Chamber Mixer is, no worry we are here to explain. A mixer is a business networking event for business owners from Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties to come and enjoy fine food, wine and people. "Business people are always busy doing business, which makes this a perfect event for business owners to get out and mingle," shared Diane Gray.
The mixer also gives businesses the opportunity to give announcement on upcoming events or general information. Some of the upcoming events include: August 16, 2008 Cave Loot Extravaganza at 1:02pm - 5:57pm Twisted Oak Winery, August 16th, 2008 Habitat for Humanity BBQ in the Murphys Park and August 21, 2008 the The Visitors Bureau will host another travel experience at the Dorrington Hotel.
At tonight's mixer the chamber of commerce announced a grand traveling opportunity offered by Above and Beyond Travel. The chamber members have the opportunity to travel together to tropical Costa Rica this coming February.
Next months mixer will be held at Foothill Village in Angels Camp on August 21st. So don't miss your chance to mix and mingle til' you tingle with other business people!
