A Bit of Wisdom from Roger Williams, Founder of Rhode Island and Ideological Founding Father

Providence, RI...Roger Williams, 21 December 1603 - 15 March 1683. Minister, theologian, and author who founded Providence Plantations, which became the Colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, now the State of Rhode Island. He was a staunch advocate for religious freedom, separation of church and state, and fair dealings with Native Americans. His work and positions helped provide an ideological underpinning for many of our founding documents.

“I infer that the sovereign, original, and foundation of civil power lies in the people.” The governments they establish, he wrote, “have no more power, nor for no longer time, than the civil power or people consenting and agreeing shall betrust them with.” Roger Williams, 1603 - 1683

> He was a staunch advocate for religious freedom, separation of church and state, and fair dealings with Native Americans.<

America has lost it's moral soul, due to the politicization of religion.
It started with Reagan, who used the Christian coalition as a Republican wing, and then normalized as part of the GOP base. Abortion, and the loss of separation of church and state was used as a wedge issue to divide America. Today, Republicans openly call for a White Christian America, and have tried to rewrite the history of America to foster this rewrite, when the truth is that religious freedom, separation of church and state, has always been the strength of America.
The radical Christian churches and sects-Evangelicals, Fundamentalists, and the sect all Catholic SCOTUS justices all promote a one true religion for America.
This is in direct conflict with the founding of America. Mike Flynn spoke of this recently-
Flynn, who was subpoenaed last week by the House select committee investigating the January 6 attack, made the comment during a speech to a conservative Christian audience on the ReAwaken America tour in Texas this weekend. "If we are going to have one nation under God, which we must, we have to have one religion," he said. "One nation under God and one religion under God, right? All of us, working together."

The abuse of America's First Nation- the native American tribes is a moral crime that endures to this day.

America is as any nation, flawed, with many transgressions from it's lofty goals.
Either we support the original goals, or slide into factional division warfare, aided by politically motivated cons attempting to rewrite American history to suit their narrow political view. Sadly we are at a tipping point with a political party denying the right to vote in 16 states, recently passed laws will remove democracy for one political party rule, the American goal lost to a political party of avarice and immorality.

And the real enemy is Govt. control of everything. Government trying to do anything other than defense is just a mess.

How strange, I see the democrat party as the biggest problem to a free country, the ones who point their finger at everyone who doesn't agree with them, screaming racism. The ones who attack their own party members who don't agree with them like Senator Manchin and then like the WH staff did, is retaliate against him. According to Senator Machine " It's is not the president. This is staff,” Manchin said in a local radio interview. “And they drove some things, and they put some things out, that was absolutely inexcusable. They know what it is.”

“I’m always willing to work and listen to try. I just got to the wit’s end and they know the real reasons what happened,” he continued.
One of the many things is the staff gave Manchins address where he stays to
the left cult protestors and they've harassed him, family and friends at his house boat 24/7.
As for the voting rights, Joe Brandon's home state has a more difficult voting laws then what the Republicans are passing, with what the democrats are most afraid of is a mandatory last four numbers of your SS number, or a driver's license number or your ID. Why are the Dems so afraid? Because a mail in ballot doesn't need anything what so ever and it would make it so easy for Dead people to vote. Another funny thing about the Right's voter ID most Americans think it's the right thing to do, just like most Americans think a secure border is a must. You must be the same guy who said 66% of West Virginia voters approved of BBB when Actually almost 7 out of Ten said they DO NOT APPROVE OF BBB
The democrat party is falling apart, and ten's of MILLIONS OF VOTERS ARE ABANDONING THE LEFT CULT LIKE BIDEN ABANDONED AMERICAN CITIZENS. FAILURE AFTER FAILURE AFTER FAILURE THEN ITS DISASTERS AFTER DISASTERS
