Cannabis Farmers - Huge Tax Break Coming Today
Posted on: 2021-12-14 08:31:45   By: Anonymous

I hope the Chamber is filled with all the local retailers the BOS screwed-over the past year and a half. Withholding all the Covid retail relief state funds $6.2 million for themselves!!!

NOW their going to give their "financial backers" (All Cannabis Farmers) a huge tax break by reducing the agreed upon canopy sales tax from 5% to 3%????

Remember the Cannabis growers enjoyed the the Covid relief as critical business while all other retailers suffered through this very challenging time. With no help from our BOS !!!

Time to Re-Call this bunch of crooks and fine some decent folks to administrate our County needs and future.

The corruption we have elected is tenacious - theres no stoping these criminals at this point - they need to be called-out for there braise disregard for the County residents. With the latest example the heavily gerrymandered redistricting Map that won 5/0 approval - garbage. . .

Don't worry. Calaveras pot growers were put so far behind by this counties lack of foresight, that many of them will just throw in the towel. Some good people. Will be replaced by some not so good people with no care at all about good ol Cal Co. County screwed up, again, by not looking ahead. Pot industry isn't such a good place to be here now. Could have been, and we all would have benefited. But not now.

Yea we thought the BOS was on our side, promoting the cannabis business and potential county tax revenues.

I pulled stakes awhile back as it appeared none of the folks on the BOS cared or just didn't understood business. They where just laughing at us while collecting millions with high registration fees knowing full-well the climate here was going to be overwhelmingly negative on our activity and pricing. I and friends spent way too much money in Calaveras believing the BOS was looking out for us?

Hard session to learn, but I'm done with Calaveras BOS BS. . .
