The Airola Fire Now 700 acres, 25% Contained & Evacuation Orders Lifting at 8pm
Vallecito, CA...The Airola Fire is now currently at 700 acres and is 25% contained. Evacuation Orders: As of 8pm this evening, all Evacuation Orders issued for the Airola Fire will be downgraded to an Evacuation Warning. All other Evacuation Warnings will remain in place.

Road Closures will re-open at 8pm this evening
At 8pm tonight, Parrotts Ferry Rd. from Highway 4 to the South County line will re-open.
PG&E have re-energized the Parrotts Ferry area.
As the public begins to repopulate, please remain vigilant
and watch for fire crews and utility resources on roadways.

Where's our District 3 Supervisor, Merita Callaway? Did she even inquire, much less go bring any kind of water, or offer to help the firefighters and other first responders? Did she show up at all? Apparently if it isn't a party, parade, concert, festival, or farmers market, she isn't interested. If the people involved aren't "my supporters" or pot growers or sellers, she is nowhere to be seen. Typical.

Supporters don't get in the way of firefighting operations. That's akin to walking into a military occupancy and asking how you can help. Silly comment. ps - If you care, so much - there are plenty of charities collecting for the families of fallen firefighters. Locally, you can even donate a few personal care products to Colfax fire victims in the barrel placed inside Round Table Pizza.
