Rough terrain, drought conditions and manpower stretched thin. No surprise whatsoever given all the fires being battled in the west. Fingers crossed that the winds don’t pick up tonight or this could be another really bad one.

Maybe contact McClintock next time he won’t authorize more funding for federal firefighting. “They” only have so many resources to distribute through the burning west. Sept and Oct have often been worse, too.

Yes. And it's going to get better. Worse? Calaveras has a fully vaccinated rate of 42%. That's very similar to rates we see in southern states such as Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, etc. that now have covid patients overflowing their hospitals and dying in droves. Our vaccination rate invites covid to do the same to our community. So here's your chance to really own the libs Trumpers, don't vaccinate and die.
