Traffic Advisory One - Way Traffic Control on State Routes 88 and 207
Alpine County, CA... The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has various projects planned on State Routes 88 and 207 this week in Alpine County.

Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
State Route 88
• Crews will conduct drainage work from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. beginning Monday, June 28 through Thursday, July 1, 2021 between Woods Lake Road and the entrance to Meiss Meadow east of Caples Lake.
State Route 207
• Repaving work will continue on Mt. Reba Road from the Route 4/207 junction to Mt. Reba Resort from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. beginning Monday, June 28 through Thursday, July 1, 2021.
One-way traffic control will be used at these locations. Motorists should expect 10- minute delays.
Work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
For the safety of workers and other motorists, please Be Work Zone Alert.

Absolutely absurd that the taxpayers of the state of California are paying to repave 207 (Bear Valley's private taxpayer-funded driveway).
No reason for the taxpayers to continue footing the bill for maintaining that stretch of road up to a Canadian corporation's private ski resort.
