Those Windburn Brothers Perform Wednesday, June 30th at 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Utica Park, Angels Camp
Angels Camp, CA... Who are Those Windburn Brothers? You may recall back before the pandemic of 2020 there was a band called the Slade Rivers Band. In that band there were two fellows: Slade and Elky. Elky layed down his mandolin and picked up the bass while Slade kept on pickin’ guitar and singing.
Those Windburn Brothers! focus on country songs from the 40s, 50s and 60s. They cover artists such as the Louvin Brothers, Delmore Brothers, Wilburn Brothers, Ernest Tubb, Lefty Frizzel, Hank Snow, and Hank Williams as well as some of their own compositions.
Utica Park is cool and shady, and a great place for a summer picnic with some cool drinks. Bring chairs and blankets and prepare for a great time!
