Chamber of Commerce to Celebrate National Cowboy Day!
Angels Camp, CA....The Chamber of Commerce is planning a celebration of the rich heritage of the American West in Calaveras with a Bar-b-que and Dinner Dance on the National Day of the American Cowboy. The US Senate has declared Saturday, July 26th to be the National Day of the American Cowboy. To celebrate, the Chamber will have dancing to the California Outlaws, a local western band, dinner bar-be-quad by the Cattlemen's Association, and dancing under the stars at the Frogtown Beer Garden. Beer and Wine will be available. The fun starts at 5:30 with horseshoes, roping. a celebration of our local....
cowboys with a branding party and cute cowgirl contests. Dinner will be served beginning at 6:00 pm and the band will play until 11:00.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for $35.00 at the Chamber office starting Friday, June 27th. For ranchers and cowboys the cost will be only $25.00.
