Young Texas Man Was Found Deceased in Ponderosa Hills Home Fire
Sonora, CA...The adult, male victim has been positively identified as 19-year-old David Neemidge of Round Rock Texas. Next of Kin notifications have been made. The cause of the fire, circumstances surrounding the incident and cause of death are currently under investigation. The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office offers our sincerest condolences to Neemidge’s family and friends.
Earlier...
At approximately 7pm last evening our dispatch center received a call reporting a house fire on Canyonview Drive in Ponderosa Hills. When fire personnel extinguished the fire, one victim was located deceased inside the home. Tuolumne County Detectives were called to the scene and are conducting an investigation.
The decedent has not been identified, cause of death is unknown and the cause of the fire is being investigated. No further information is available at this time.
