Copperopolis Homecoming Parade Was a Homerun!
Copperopolis, CA....We had the chance to attend the 2008 Copperopolis Homecoming Celebration, Charlie Stone Memorial Parade and Emergency Service Day on Saturday. It was quite impressive, as a matter of fact I would say a Homerun! The day started off with an all you can eat pancake breakfast with the Charlie Stone Memorial Parade following at 11am. There were 33 entrants in the grand parade. We have close to 200 photos and almost 40 minutes of video for your enjoyment. If you or someone you know was in the parade...chances are we have a photo. Supervisor Russ Thomas started things off with another great rendition of the Star Spangled Banner that was sung right in front of the huge "Old Glory" that E. Clampus Vitus brought to the parade...

The day continued at Copper Firehouse #1 with Emergency Service day from 11:30 pm- 3:00 pm. This included fire trucks, paramedic trucks, fire safety and first aid information, bouncy house for kids, parade awards, food booth and more!
One of the best ways to enjoy the large photo albums that we normally have for community events is to use the slide show function on the main page of each photo album. You can automatically advance the slides at the timing of your choosing. Since this album has almost 200 photos we can save you all of those mouse clicks...
