Burton “Burt” Paulson 1937 to 2020

Murphys, Ca......On Wednesday, November 25, 2020, Burton passed away at home surrounded by his devoted wife and loving family. Burt was an identical twin born January 12, 1937 in Oakland, California to Burton and Maxine Paulson. His family lived in Napa, Ca. until Burt and his brother were sophomores in high school. They moved to Concord, Ca. where the twins attended Mt. Diablo High. It was there Burt met the love of his life, Pat Draper. They married and had 3 children, raising their family in Concord. Burt worked for 38 years and retired from Chevron. Burt and Pat moved to Murphys, Ca. (Forest Meadows) in 1994 where they have enjoyed retirement traveling, playing golf, horse races and family. Burt was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and a former member of Forest Meadows Men’s Golf Club.





Burt will be fondly remembered by his family and friends and is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Pat, daughter Kathy (Tom) Darden of Kauai, Hawaii, son Burt Jr. (Sheryl) of Peyton, Colorado, son-in-law Nate Kaster of Newman, Ca., 50 grand children and great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Burt was welcomed in heaven by daughter Louise (Nate) Kaster, twin brother Ed, his mother and father, as well as many other family and friends.

Private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to Hospice.
