TRAFFIC NEWS...Injury MVA in Poker Flat Subdivsion
Poker Flat, CA....CHP is reporting a MVA in the Poker Flat area. Initial reports are that a vehicle may be on top of someone. Jaws of Life have been called and Emergency Personnel are on scene now. We will keep you posted as we know more....(Update #1) Medi-Flight has landed at Copper Fire and is waiting for patient. (Uodate #2) Medi-Flight has taken off with a male patient. (Update #3) John just spoke with Emergency Personnel and apparently the vehicle went 100 feet off of an embankment and overturned. Subject was pinned under the vehicle. The patient was responsive and talking to emergency personnel and is being transported to Doctors Hospital of Modesto....
We have to commend the Copperopolis Fire District as they are well equipped to handle situations like these when they arrive with a landing zone adjacent to the fire department. They have also recently invested in an ambulance of their own so they can transport patients if need be.
