This will end up being a peaceful protest. You might have a few rednecks drive by and shout some obscenities, but that's it. This is overall a conservative (but not largely) community and well, those are the type that are afraid of change.

Change? Nothing needs changed here, we live here to not be a part of the larger criminal activity that happens in the large population places. It is peaceful here, these outsiders seek to change that!

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. This is the most ridiculous political act I have ever seen. But then I remembered how dangerous the county is, filled with Republicans, rednecks, militia members, and a few aging hippies. My God what a cauldron for disruption and discord. No doubt the level of danger is rod-hot extreme.

Are you really serious? You folks are running around in a loony-bin...A real "one flew over the cuckoo's nest" scene. I am sending this to Saturday Night Live for a possible skit.

Come on people. Don’t these protestors already know that mountain people realize “black lives matter.” Perhaps that is why we all moved here to the mountain. They just can’t leave good happy folks alone. Maturity and having a job is a good start. Most people are working while they are protesting. Get real, so sad.....

OK, a slightly serious question, haven't we made so much progress in the last 50 years on race?

Today with the amount of mixed race marriages, huge influxes of Hispanics, Asians, Indians in another generation or two in at least California won't anyone of just one ethic background become almost an anomaly?

Hip Hop culture is Pop Culture. Hollywood is black culture centric. Blacks are becoming less black, whites are becoming lass white, Asians are becoming less Asian. The future is a shade of brown!

No one is scared of blacks. The problem is whites wanting to punish other white people for the crime of being white.

The only way they can live with their own whiteness is to tell other white people how horrible they are and destroy their property

Did Angels P.D. get some intel we don't know about? Are loads of indoctrinated white supremist about to unload their 2nd Amendment rights on the city? Is Antifa busing in hundreds of people? A curfew, for real? This city and county is going to find out again, that largely it is irrelevant in the larger scheme of things.

Can we hold the two event organizers legally and financially responsible for any and all damages that occur? How about the dollars for increased law enforcement?
How about the cost and care for any covid cases that might arise due to their need for attention.

A lot of people are murdered in this country everyday you never hear about. How many in Stockton last month? No protest for them.

I truly believe most of the moral fabric of people that live here in foothills agree to stand up for the beliefs of humankind. But to invite it to a place up here push a black life matters. To me the media is pushing black against whites. Wonder then what the hell have teachers taught these groups. You teach to learn, not teach what you believe. I was raised in 80s and 90s. Wasn’t about black, white, Indian, Latino, Mexican, Asians. Was ingrained in my life to be respectful to all a humankind. Live simple, so others can simply live.

So now, every business, restaurant and others have to be home in bed by 8 PM. These businesses are now just getting to reopen from the Covid lockdown and they will now lose more income. Why? Because two snowflake teens who feel guilty for being born white have the desire to stand out on a street corner with stupid signs to tell other white people how they feel. Oh, and the cost to have the oppressive law enforcement officers protecting them and everyone else, we could not be more lucky to have these two in our community.

Really? I know tons of different folks and we all joke around with each other. That's the problem. When I saw PC coming a mile away, everyone lost their sense of humor.
