President Donald J. Trump Approves Washington Disaster Declaration

Washington, DC...Today, President Donald J. Trump declared that a major disaster exists in the State of Washington and ordered Federal assistance to supplement State, tribal, and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic beginning on January 20, 2020, and continuing.

The President’s action makes Federal funding available for Crisis Counseling for affected individuals in all areas in the State of Washington.

Federal funding is also available to State, tribal, and eligible local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations for emergency protective measures, including direct Federal assistance, for all areas in the State of Washington impacted by COVID-19.

Pete Gaynor, Administrator, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Department of Homeland Security, named Michael F. O’Hare as the Federal Coordinating Officer for Federal recovery operations in the affected areas.

Additional designations may be made at a later date if requested by the State and warranted by the results of further assessments.

FOR FURTHER INFORMATION MEDIA SHOULD CONTACT THE FEMA NEWS DESK AT (202) 646-3272 OR FEMA-NEWS-DESK@FEMA.DHS.GOV.

It's nice having Americans like you....said any communist, in any country who hates us as much as you seem to hate our country.

I wonder if our former president Obama stopped taking credit for the economy now.
I hope everyone stays safe and your family stays safe, even the POS jerk above, mostly because an ash-hole like him might infect one of our elders who are NOT like him.

There is a HUGE difference between criticizing trump and hating our country. Trump is not America. No one president is America. We the people are America. And we can judge Trump however we please.... although I would prefer we based those opinions on data and facts.

We’ve actually been in a nationwide disaster the moment Trump took office.

Trump is to blame for some of this if not most. He cancelled our national security pandemic response team in 2018. He gutted funding and staffing for the internal pandemic scientists, he ignored the advice and pleas from medical and national security professionals to prepare for a pandemic.

Then when the pandemic started he failed to take prompt action. In fact, when states and cities asked for extra help he is said he is not a shipping clerk. He declared an emergency which gives him the power to direct companies to make and supply all manner of protective equipment, yet he refuses to do that as other presidents had done in the past. So now when he does something he acts like a freaking hero and claims his performance is “a 10”. Ignorant, arrogant and useless as teats on a bull.
