There Is A New Ore Cart In Town~A Video Chat with John Hamilton
Valley Springs, CA...Hwy 26 now has it's very own Calaveras County Ore Cart. This is the latest in the continued efforts of the Chamber of Commerce to mark every entrance into the county with a Beautiful and Iconic Ore Cart. The cart which was built by Angels Sheet Metal and dropped into place yesterday morning still needs to have the finishing touches put in place but all of the "Heavy Lifting" has been done.
We will stop back by and take another photo of the finished exhibit in a few week. But for now it sure does ad that special something for our Hwy 26 visitors to look at. One of our on scene reporters even offers a video look at the new cart.
Next up on the list of installations will be the Parrotts Ferry entrance. The perfect spot is being developed now to greet our visitors on that entrance as well.
