CHP Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Arrest of Angels Camp Man & Twain Harte Woman

Sonora, CA...On September 9, 2019, at approximately 12:18 am, CHP officers observed a white 2007 Cadillac CTS fail to stop for the posted stop sign at East Avenue and Tuolumne Road North. The Cadillac was being driven by, 52-year-old Joseph McIntyre out of Angels Camp. The Cadillac made a right turn onto southbound Tuolumne Road North from East Avenue and as the CHP officers got closer to the Cadillac, they noticed the left side brake light was not working. The officers made an enforcement stop on the vehicle and contacted Mr. McIntyre and his passenger, 28-year-old Shannon Yielding out of Twain Harte.

After questioning Mr. McIntyre, the officers learned he was driving with a suspended California Driver License and he was on probation. A search of his vehicle was performed, which revealed Mr. McIntyre and Ms. Yielding were trying to conceal suspected Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Both Mr. McIntyre and Ms. Yielding were placed under arrest. A second search of the vehicle was performed with the help of Tuolumne County Sheriff K-9 and additional suspected Methamphetamine was located.

Mr. McIntyre and Ms. Yielding were transported to the Tuolumne County Jail and booked for possession of a controlled substance, possession for sales of a controlled substance, transportation of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

So, do you think all the tweaks out there are that stupid or are they already on the radar and officers just waiting to catch them running a stop sign or similar?

A victim of SRS, stealing the souls and futures of our children when he was a local street hustler. Good job stevie! This we can all hand you a big applause for such an achievement in life. Ironically now you preach b.s of the failed wasted tax payer money of the just say no campaigns. Then blame marijuana on everything including your personal penile problems none of us need or care to know about.

^^The truth hurts. SRS preaching the evils of drug abuse is just the height of hypocrisy. Just shut up Stevie Blunder, you abused methamphetamine, now you tell people how to live? Not only abused it, but sold it. STFU you old hasbeen.

Enough of this, as a taxpayer I want to know how much time these two are going to spend in jail, every crime reported and where there is an arrest should be followed up on, we have a right to know if these people are given a hand slap or are put away for a time!

This guy who has a girlfriend in Greenhorn Creek has been arrested numerous times for drugs and drug related offenses, e.g. stealing copper wire.

It amazes me his bail is only $20K...it also amazes me he is on the street. Dumb ass gets arrested every 6 - 12 months.

    Lays low at girlfriends house.
