Shooting at Tuolumne Area Marijuana Grow

Tuolumne, CA...Detectives are currently working to find the suspects involved in a shooting that happened over the weekend. On Saturday night, our office received a report of a man who had been shot on a property on Buchanan Road and Forest Road 2N11 in Tuolumne. When deputies arrived, a man came out of a travel trailer covered in blood and claimed he had been shot. The victim reported there were several men involved in the incident wearing tri camouflage clothing and camouflage masks. The suspects left the scene on the victim’s off road vehicle before deputies arrived. Several tents containing marijuana plants were found on the property during a search. The victim was taken by helicopter to a hospital out of the area.

We ask that anyone with information regarding this incident to call our office at (209) 533-5815. We’ll continue to provide more information as it becomes available.

Do we never learn?
Posted on: 2019-09-09 18:14:52   By: Anonymous

Dear Tuolumne County:

Why would you want this to happen knowing what has happened to our county? Don't you already have enough crime with your casinos and thug fallout from the valley? And then there are the mentally ill homeless ruining your very quality of life and safety.

Been there, done that.

Signed: Calaveras County

But but but, Tuolumne has a ban! Bans are supposed to magically end all commercial cultivation.

People have been growing out there FOR.EVER!
BANS DON'T WORK. That's why they are discussing permits, dumb*ss. Regulations bring tax revenue. Bans bleed counties dry.

Whenever the government gets to discussing permitting I just can’t help myself but shoot and rob some grow sites. I don’t know what comes over me.

I'm sure Jack, Merita and Ben are very disappointed this shooting didn't occur in Calaveras County.

All that economic opportunity wasted!

Those three have s--t for brains.

Yep! Ditto! Let big tobacco take over and they can raise it down there in the lower Calif. desert! The land is cheap down there to since it's so desolate. Big tobacco also have the resources to build climate controlled greenhouses too!

I have been so blessed this year with the bounty of all my crops-both veggies and fruits (a lot of them volunteers) and those type of crops are a lot more edible than weed. You can't eat weed and I don't care much for Alice B Toklas brownies LOL! Some of you are too young to remember when they first came out. So you wanna call me a burned-out methhead huh? Will this so-called meth head doesn't need the meth nor weed nor anything. And I have my head on straight enough to raise my own EDIBLE crops the right way and to benefit. I'm not gonna starve this winter. Are you?
