FIRE NEWS.... Vehicle Fire in Angels Camp"UPDATE" ~By Hanna Heath

Angels Camp, CA...A car has been involved in a vehicle fire at the stoplight on highway 4 and 49 intersection across from Starbucks in Angels Camp. Fire personal are on scene and have extinguished the fire. No injuries have been reported . The vehicle was traveling east bound on highway 4. The driver stopped at a red light and noticed smoke rising from the engine compartment and immediately called 911....

Angels Camp Fire arrived on scene and was able to extinguish the fire completely within minutes. Fire Captain Nathan Pry shared, “We were able to respond quickly. Because of our quick actions the fire did not spread into the interior of the vehicle, we were able to contain the fire inside the engine compartment.”
