Two Squatters Arrested in Mokelumne Hill

Mokelumne Hill, CA...From the Calaveras Sheriff's Dept..."Two Squatters Arrested in Mokelumne Hill: On 1-11-19 at about 5:20pm CCSO Deputies responded to a residence in the 8000 block Campo Seco Turnpike in Mokelumne Hill after a realtor was going to show the residence and discovered dishes and a locked bedroom door. The realtor could also smell cigarette smoke coming from inside the bedroom.

Deputies arrived and located two subjects, Marty Allison (age 47) and Jamie Linares (age 42) inside of a shed on the back of the property. After investigation revealed that the two subjects had been in the residence, both Allison and Linares were arrested on burglary charges and booked in to the Calaveras County Jail with $50,000 bail. Linares was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Maybe this county needs a homeless shelter. I see these two had drugs and/or paraphernalia on them. Of course desperate people usually turn to drugs for self medication to deal with hardships of life, i.e., no home, no job, etc. There's a lot of that going on. Maybe they just had weed on them which of course probably doesn't cost very much. Maybe if they get help to get off of drugs while they are locked up and get proper housing etc. when they straighten up, there will be hope for them! I really feel for the dog though.

Yep and there is always the chance that the majority of the people in our state can push to make marijuana illegal for recreational use! Give it some time-there's already a lot of draw backs happening around the state or should I say negative results caused by the legalization!
