Avalanche Education Workshop on January 5th in Bear Valley

Bear Valley, CA...The Nickolay Dodov Foundation is part of a nationwide movement to educate youth and all-age winter sports enthusiasts to stay safe in winter environments. Over the last 10 winters an average of 39 people died in avalanches each winter in North America. We believe providing avalanche education will help to safe lives.

In the last three years we have reached out with the avalanche awareness program "Know Before You Go" to close to 6000 ski and snowboard athletes, middle, high school and university students, coaches, teachers, parents and all age mountain enthusiasts.

Last snow season, we reached out to more than 1500 ski/snowboard athletes, middle, high school and university students, coaches, teachers and parents.

Event occurs on 01/05/2019 from 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

About Your Tax Returns and the Shut Down:
Everybody got paid before. Everybody got their Return but a tad late. Everybody came out alive. Didn't your Parents always tell you to save for hard times? Yeah think about those words your Parents tried to tell you but you did not want to listen to. Now go be a good responsible Adult and stop your crying.

Since 1972 the government has built over 3000 miles of 'sound walls' along our highways to 'protect' nearby homeowners from traffic sounds.
These walls cost about $2 million per mile. The government has spent over $6 billion of our tax money on them.
If the government can spend $6 billion on walls to protect homeowners from traffic noise, why can't it spend $5 billion to protect our lives?
