Cherokee Nation Says Senator Warren’s DNA Test Undermining Tribal Interests

Tahlequah, OK...Cherokee Nation Secretary of State Chuck Hoskin Jr. issued the following statement Monday in response to Senator Elizabeth Warren’s DNA test claiming Native Heritage: "A DNA test is useless to determine tribal citizenship. Current DNA tests do not even distinguish whether a person’s ancestors were indigenous to North or South America," Cherokee Nation Secretary of State Chuck Hoskin Jr. said. "Sovereign tribal nations set their own legal requirements for citizenship, and while DNA tests can be used to determine lineage, such as paternity to an individual, it is not evidence for tribal affiliation. Using a DNA test to lay claim to any connection to the Cherokee Nation or any tribal nation, even vaguely, is inappropriate and wrong. It makes a mockery out of DNA tests and its legitimate uses while also dishonoring legitimate tribal governments and their citizens, whose ancestors are well documented and whose heritage is proven. Senator Warren is undermining tribal interests with her continued claims of tribal heritage."

With all due respect, Warner never claimed to be Native American. She simply stated that somewhere in her ancestry their was evidence - as is the case with most Oklahoman cowboys and girls I know. How much did Trump donate for this commentary or yet another lobby seeking favor?

Of what? She's just another lying sleazebag on the far left trying to make political hay by saying she's part Indian. Even if she was 1/1000 part of some sort of Indian, does that make her presidential material. LMFAO.

There's more to it than that.

    than that.

Starting with the fact that the October 22, 1996 edition of the Harvard Crimson attributes to a Mike Chmura, described as a “spokesperson for the Law School,” as saying that “Professor of Law Elizabeth Warren is Native American.”

Therein lies the root of the problem, it seems to me: Warren is not, in any reasonable sense of the term, “a Native American.” That is, the original claim wasn’t whether Warren did, or did not, have some (distant) Native American “ancestry.” Rather, this whole situation started because Warren was represented (and, at a minimum, allowed herself to be so represented) to be “a Native American “ when she, by any reasonable standard, is not.

It does nobody any good to pretend that the current situation is something less that that or that Warren is now being misunderstood. She brought this situation on herself.

So, Warren lost her bet and is as lilly white as any other white in the USA, and proceeded to meltdown on Twitter. Then Stormy lost and has to pay Trump's legal fees. LMAO!! That means that all the lefties that donated to Stormy are actually handing that money to Trump!! Hahahahaha! And its only Monday!
