The Calaveras Council of Governments (CCOG) is soliciting applications for appointment to the Advisory Committee for the Valley Springs Town Center Connectivity Plan

Valley Springs, CA...Appointments will be made by the CCOG Board on September 5, 2018. About the project: The project will explore multi-modal improvements within the historic core of Valley Springs (Town Center) and safe connectivity to key destinations such as the Valley Springs Elementary School, State Routes 12 and 26, and shopping areas. The Plan will plot future transportation strategies to improve multimodal corridor safety, access, aesthetics, and mobility. The final product will be a conceptual multimodal plan aimed at maximizing existing and planned operational investments along the State Route 12 and 26 corridors while providing safe routes to school.

    COG should be abolished.
It is a total waste of money to the county.
All COG work could be done in house

C'mon folks they are instrumental in the county having the vaunted Calaveras Transit. Follow that money down the rabbit hole and see where it ends up.

Don't you have to have a town before you can have a town center?
