Major Injuries for Mountain Ranch Man in Dirtbike vs Vehicle Collision

Mountain Ranch, CA...On July 21, 2018, at approximately 1308 hours, a young Mountain Ranch man was a 2006 Honda YFZ250F eastbound on Stanley Road, east of Rabbits Foot Road, at an unknown speed. Another Mountain Ranch man was driving his Ford Explorer westbound on Stanley Road, approaching Rabbits Foot Road at approximately 25 mph, approaching the motorcycle's location. For a yet to be determined reason, the young man allowed his Honda to cross over the double solid yellow lines, directly into the path of the Ford. The front of the Ford collided with front of the Honda within the westbound traffic lane. The motorcycle rider was ejected from his Honda.

Alcohol and/or drugs are not considered a factor in this collision.

Party #1 was not wearing a helmet during this collision.

I just can’t imagine being the older man in the pickup. It’s a gamble everyday on our roads. Just wish folks would be accountable and respect other drivers.

In the picture, snapped in the darkness of a Wilton vineyard, Jack Kautz crouches behind a dead buck, smiling as he holds up the animal's head by its freakishly large set of antlers.

It was a buck for the record books with sprawling antlers about an arm's width apart. If Katuz 52, had been had been able to claim it is a official trophy, he could have added it to his long list of accomplishments detailed on the website of his family's Lodi grape growing business, Ironstone Vineyards.

I'm fairly certain the people I care about wouldn't be driving a motorcycle on the wrong side of the road without wearing a helmet. Sad what happened to young Mr. Hays but I've really no sympathy for the child. Totally stupid!!!

Yet another Darwin award candidate.

Ps, the reason bikers have head on crashes on curved roads is excessive speed! !!!

Ban the bikes!

Unsafe at any speed.

I'm wondering if we might be on some type of record for deaths on our roadways this year?
Sure wish we all could slow down and use our noggin while traveling about. There's some loved
ones who sure would miss just about any one of us if this happened to one of us.

Don't know if it means anything about now, but RIP young man.
I hope everyone thinks twice if you're ever thinking of passing over that double yellow
Remember, it only takes a split second to have your loved ones world turn upside down because
you or someone else did a foolish thing.
