This Month in Jenny's Kids "Fresh Fruit Skewers with Yogurt & Honey Dip"~By Jenny Baxter of Jenny's Kitchen
Angels Camp, CA...This month, the Hamilton boys had the chance to get together with famous Calaveras County Chef and Proprietress of Jennys Kitchen, Jenny Baxter, to prepare a wonderful snack, "Fresh Fruit Skewers with Yogurt and Honey Dip." It is such an easy recipe, anyone can do it. The boys are ever so excited to see their friend Jenny every month! She is so kind and always shows them the proper technique for kids to use in the kitchen....

This snack is perfect for after school when the kids are hungry. It is healthy yet yummy at the same time! You can use any assortment of fresh fruit you like. For the dip we used vanilla yogurt with a Tablespoon of honey...The boys loved it!
Here is the fruit we used:
Fresh sliced bananas
Fresh Blackberries
Fresh Apples
Fresh Tangerines
You put them on a skewer or straw for the younger ones and top it with your Yogurt Honey dip.
Very easy and quite delicious.
The boys and Jenny have lots of fun recipes planned for the next few months so stay tuned!
