Sheriff's Office Finds Calaveras Student Had Allegedly Threatened to Stab Another Student.

San Andreas, CA...On 03/6/18 Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Detectives completed their follow-up investigation into the alleged threat at Calaveras High School where a 15-year-old student had mentioned bringing a firearm to campus. The student was arrested at the high school during the initial response to the complaint. During the investigation the investigators learned that the student had previously, on an unknown date, threatened another student.

Additionally, the Sheriff’s Office received information during this investigation that on or about 9/7/17 the student was found to be in possession of a knife after he had threatened to stab another student.

That's a good reason to arrest him. Threatening someone with a knife and having a knife on you to carry out that threat is serious. That boy needed a father a long time ago.

Maybe his father and even his grandfather are Calaveras neer do wells and part of the longtime revolving door at the jail.

Oh give it up, we have great communities and great kids. Not everyone needs a doctorate in English literature to become a great person. Move back to the Bay.

No one said otherwise; simply that there are a lot of messed up kids including ones with at least one absentee parent in our county. This young man already had a history of weapon violations and bullying threats. The high school administrators and the SO did exactly the right thing.
