BOS Back in Action Tuesday Morning

San Andreas, CA...The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors are meeting Tuesday morning at 9am. The CDA will start off with a Public Comments section; Then moved to a Closed Session to discuss the property for the new jail; They will then move to a Study Session to discuss Watershed Analysis Risk Management Framework Model; The other Study Session will be on pending application for AB900 funding for a new jail facility and associated development. There will also be a Closed Session held on Feburary 20th at 8:30am at Greenhorn Creek Fireside Room for Public Employee Appointment of County CAO. Full agenda is enclosed for your viewing pleasure. We will also have full video up after the meeting for your streaming pleasure....

Discussion and possible action re: 2007-097 County Initiated Zoning Amendments regarding Agricultural Preserves. The County initiated the following zoning amendments due to the placement of lands into or expiration of Agricultural Preserve Contracts for 2007: Community Development Agency
Marilyn L. Pence, Richard L. Matteoli & Robert J. Matteoli - Contract #303 was approved by the Board of Supervisors on December 4, 2007. Assessor's Parcel 44-009-043 totaling 6.00 acres is recommended for rezoning from RR (Rural Residential) to AP (Agricultural Preserve). The subject land is located at 2700 Willow Creek Road approximately 1/2 mile south of the intersection with Mountain Ranch Road in the community of San Andreas. The subject land is located in Sections 22, Township 4 North Range 12 East, MDM, within Sectional District Map 17.96.04.12 - Board action:


Ronald R. Payne and Linda M. Payne - Contract #306 was approved by the Board of Supervisors on December 4, 2007. Assessor Parcels 20-031-032, 20-031-048, 20-031-050 totaling 163.19 acres is recommended for rezoning from U (Unclassified) to AP (Agriculture Preserve). The subject lands are located on the south side of Swiss Ranch Road approximately 4 miles east of the intersection with Railroad Flat Road in the community of Mountain Ranch. the subject land is located in Sections 20 and 21, Township 54 North Range 14 East, MDM, within Sectional District Map 17.96.04.14 - Board action:
