10 Arrested After Search Warrant Operation At Rosalinda's

Jamestown, CA...Search warrant operation at local strip club results in 10 arrests...The search warrant conducted at Rosalinda’s Gentlemen’s Club on Thursday, March 1, 2018 resulted in ten people being taken to county jail. The owner/operator of the establishment, Rosalinda Aponte Sanmartin, 78 years old, was not at the business at the time of the warrant service and has not been located. Sanmartin is facing felony charges of maintaining/operating a drug house stemming from this investigation and is encouraged to turn herself in to local law enforcement.

Sanmartin’s daughter, Marlinda Beth Russo, 47 years old, arrived at the scene during the execution of the search warrant and was arrested for a local misd. warrant as well as fresh felony charges of maintaining/operating a drug house.

The following people were located, arrested and transported to the county jail:

Several other people that were located at the establishment were questioned and released from the scene without charges.

Numerous health and building code violations were found at the business and will be followed up on.

The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank all the agencies involved in this operation, without the support of our partner agencies; they would not be successful. We would also like to thank the community for their partnership in helping us to keep our community a safe place to live and work. Thank you!!

Original Story: An undercover investigation culminating in a search warrant went forward today at Rosalinda’s Gentlemen’s Club located in Jamestown.

Agents of the Tuolumne Narcotics Team (TNT) with assistance of the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC), TCSO SWAT, TCSO General Detectives, Tuolumne County Probation, Child Welfare Services, and Tuolumne County Code Enforcement are assisting in the investigation of the establishment.

The Operation was jointly launched by TNT and ABC in late 2017, after meeting together to discuss the host of calls for service, complaints, and violations that have taken place at the establishment over the years.
In 2017 alone, Rosalinda’s Gentlemen’s Club generated over 50 calls for service that required a response from the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office. In the last five years, the club has generated almost 200 calls for service, many serious in nature such as the 2015 stabbing of one dancer by another at the establishment, and the recent rape investigation that was reported in November of 2017. Everything from assaults to sexual assaults, to code violations and thefts have been reported at this location over the years.

The search warrant was generated after several months of investigation into the Jamestown strip club in which illegal alcohol violations, California Code of Regulations violations, narcotics, and prostitution were investigated. During the investigation, narcotics were purchased on multiple occasions and prostitution was solicited from at least one exotic dancer employed at the club. Multiple ABC violations were also observed nightly by the undercover detectives.

Please be aware there will be emergency vehicles in that area for several hours while the search warrant is being executed. More information will be released as the investigation continues.
