Major Injuries to Wilseyville Man After Collision
West Point, CA...On February 5, 2018, at approximately 1715 hours, San Andreas CHP Officers were dispatched to a traffic collision on Schaad Road, north of Blue Mountain Road. The investigating officer determined that Mr. Donald Denison, of Wilseyville, was driving his 2007 Ford F150 northbound on Schaad Road when he fell asleep behind the wheel.
As a result, Mr. Denison's Ford traveled off of the roadway, down a hillside, and through several trees, before coming to rest on top of a rock. Fire department personnel used the "jaws of life" to free Mr. Denison from his vehicle, and he was flown by helicopter to Modesto for treatment of his injuries. Mr. Denison was wearing his seatbelt during the collision. Alcohol and/or drugs are not factors in this collision.
