Indoor Marijuana Grow Eradicated on Baldwin Street, Valley Springs

Valley Springs, CA...On 01-10-18 members of the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team served a search warrant for an illegal unregistered indoor marijuana grow at a residence in the 8000 block of Baldwin Street in Valley Springs. Deputies found that the entire house had been converted for marijuana cultivation. 1,447 marijuana plants were seized and two subjects arrested.

Wenhai Yang (52 year old male) and Xiugin Yang (52 year old female) were booked into the Calaveras County Jail with $30,000 bail for 11358(c)H&S – illegal marijuana cultivation, 11366H&S - maintaining a place for the purpose of unlawfully selling, giving away, or using any controlled substance (commonly known as “operating a drug house”), and 182(a)(1)PC – criminal conspiracy.

No further information is available at this time.

Sheriff sees money running out for enforcement and must make their moves now. When money dries up from lack of marijane tax from cultivators, you'll see fewer raids, cause there won't be any money to go after.

With any luck that's just the right amount where these two will skip out leaving the county with $60,000 cash, two growers we'll never see again, and no prosecution costs. That's a win.

Sadly I think this is exactly what is going on. We are basically funding county government by letting bad guys go. Maybe these two will leave the area but in other cases like Terry Blake they get out of jail and continue their local crime wave.

The BOS or someone needs to call the DA and judges to account.

Can someone tell me if growing a whole house full of marijuana could possibly not be detectable outside the house from the odor?

That is, could these people have reasonably hoped to not be detected by neighbors?

Being in Valley Springs, their neighbors are likely growers too.

^ If they have one of those things, they can get away with it.
But if the Neighbors have one of those things, they'll probably get popped.

Say what you will, I've known a few seniors and those with bad diseases like cancer and lupus that MJ helped live out their final days comfortably without going bankrupt to big pharma. May you never know the pain of losing a loved one that way.

Freud said all our issues come down to our relationships with our mother. Suspect you meant "NOTHING better..." Nevertheless, amusing and perhaps applicable.

Soap completely meets the high requirements for children'sproducts, and is suitable for daily hygiene of a baby with 2 years old.

pot for ill seniors is fine, it’s the teens on up smoking and eating it that bothers me, will lead to low life, lazy and non-productive citizens.

How come there is NO mention in the Pine Tree about the BOS decision to ban commercial cannibis activity in the county this past week?

I used to know a person or lack there of that lived on Baldwin.

All she did was use him for things and money.

How can someone be as heartless as she was and more then likely still is?

To this day we here can't figure out why she did it.

The guy loved her and to this day wonders why she did what she did to him.

So here is to wishing her the absolute Worst 2018 possible and all the bad luck in the world as well!!
