Suspects Sought in Valley Springs Dollar General Burglary

Valley Springs, CA...On 12-07-17 at approx. 0330 hours deputies responded to the Dollar General store located on Riley Way in Valley Springs for a reported burglary. The store manager had arrived at the business and found the front glass door shattered. Deputies checked the premises and did not locate any suspects on scene.

A review of the video surveillance shows that on 12-06-17 at about 11:50pm two suspects are seen outside the business attempting to break the front door. The two suspects appear to be younger aged males (late teens to early twenties). The front glass door to the business was shattered and the suspects entered the store. One suspect went directly to the locked cigarette cabinet but was unsuccessful in getting any tobacco products. Both suspects are then seen running down the aisle and stole a pre-paid cell phone before exiting the store. Both suspects wore dark colored hooded sweatshirts and attempted to conceal their identity by covering their faces. Please review the attached pictures from video surveillance; taking note of the clothing, hat, shoes, and backpack of the suspects.

If you recognize any of the suspects in these pictures or have information regarding this crime, please call the Calaveras Co

They need to spend more than a dollar on video cameras if they want to ID suspects

We certainly don't want any retail stores in our county ! Better off sending them To Tuolmne or Amador county. That way, we won't have any tax base or employment here. We could all just be on welfare. Dollar stores don't really compete that much with our mom and pop shops. Figure it out, let's see your data on this......Moron

Like cancer. One in Murphys, Arnold and another going in in Angels - providing the Native American skull picked up by that local guy on the construction site doesn't indicate a Miwok burial site.

Yeah, right, there has never been theft here before. Those pot growers must be it, stealing munchies for their breaks. Or wait, did they take a lot of individual sized Gatorades? If so it could be an anti-pot activist. Gosh, I am so confused. Did one of them have a furry white beard? Maybe it was Santa Cla....well, better not say it. Yeah, lets just blame it on the pot growers, they hate those dollar stores.
