Seasonal Closures Coming to Stanislaus National Forest!

Sonora, CA...Beginning Oct. 1 campgrounds and day use areas will be closing for the season. A few locations will remain open for a few more weeks, but many are closing Oct. 1. Dispersed camping is available until the roads close, but be ready for winter weather! Check the Forest website at https://www.fs.usda.gov/stanislaus/ for information about all recreation areas before you go. (This is not a current photo!)

My hope is that we have a winter that will rival last winter, and teaches Jerry The Brown a huge lesson!! He talks water storage but comes up with issues on trans gender bathrooms, a train to nowhere, delta tunnels that send water to so. Cal, they don't capture and of their own run-off, and other Snowflake issues! Many of the new homes and businesses in Sacramento are below levees that he has ignored maintenance on, they need a little wet pressure and Bingo, they brake and put much of the San Joaquin Valley under water! So Jerry, let's see how your ignorance pays off! I'm sure he will be reveling in the legalization of the whacky weed, when it gets wet it doesn't burn! Ha Ha

You would think they would have one of those things up there.

Check your spelling before you call someone else ignorant. And while I agree with most of what you said, the Gov is definately not ignorant. He is a sneaky and conniving manipulator who has figured out how to pass bills and levy taxes without the consent or approval of the citizens.

Agreed, he is sneaky and conniving and much more. But,he does have the consent and approval as witnessed by the election to his fourth term by the majority of ignoramuses in CA.

Go ahead and lock the gate to the Candy Rock Shooting Range, I will shoot on Sundays 4 feet from the restriction line.
