Three of Four Stolen Boats Recovered on Lake Tulloch

Copperopolis, CA...On 8/31/2017 Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marine Safety Unit responded to Lake Tulloch for a report of four stolen boats. 3 of the 4 stolen boats were recovered. These boats had been taken, stripped of valuables and left floating on the lake. The one boat that is still unrecovered is a White 2006 North River fishing boat CF # 0577RL. If anyone has information as to the whereabouts of this boat or information in regards to the thefts, please contact the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office at (209) 754-6500.

The Sheriff’s Office is also asking for anyone who may have witnessed these incidents or that may have video surveillance footage in the area from the evening on 8-30-17 to the morning of 8-31-17.

This is still an ongoing investigation.
Have a safe and fun holiday weekend and enjoy our lakes!
We will see you out there.

When they find the doper yahoos, rope and rock. Send them to the bottom of the lake.

We need to bring back smart laws, like death to pirates.

These 2 boats don't look stripped? Personal gear might be missing,.....and how, on such a small lake could this happen. It's an inside job for sure.....check you neighbors dock !

How does one hide a stolen boat on a lake like Tulloch? That would be like stealing a locomotive from Sierra Railroad. Where is it going to go?

Look for teenagers to late 20's, they'll also be drinking beer and other alcohol of course.

Stolen boats

I'm sure the Rehab center and what they bring in is partly to blame for the high crime. The gate is always open and occasionally you see people that look like they aren't from the area lost and doped up just walking along the road right there. Anyone can get access to these boats by entering the lake even on the Jamestown side. It could be anyone and it's small enough that they will get caught.

And I suppose you and Hilary both aren't trash? You're just another pissed off liberal sitting behind your smart phone that our tax money pays for because you're too lazy to get a job. Your mindless trash remarks that are made on the freaking pine tree aren't going to un-do that fact that Trump is president. Buy yourself a one way ticket out of this country. Thanks :)
