Accurate Election
Posted on: 2017-08-24 09:07:09   By: Anonymous

If the same protocols and equipment were used country wide, we would not be in the crisis the Republicans forced on America from their election theft.

Legal voters denied their vote.
Inaccurate voting machines with no paper records of votes.
Broken voting machines in poor usually Democratic precincts.
Use of Interstate Cross check , denying legal voters their right to vote.
Gerrymandering.
End of early voting.
Precincts moved at the last minute far from poorer precincts.

We have the Republicans to thank for a stolen election and the consequences of illegitimate members of legislatures, city/town governments, governorships, House and Senate seats and president.

If these defects in our elections are allowed to continue, which it appears they will, thru elections, the Conservatives have forced a coup of our Democracy, which many say has been lost to an Oligarchy in place since the Citizens United ruling.
Our government is bought and paid for by the highest bidder, it does not represent the people, only the wealthy and corporate contributors, who write the bills, and effect corporate decisions in the Roberts corporate Supreme court.

The only way the people can retake their government is to pass laws protecting voting rights for all.
I doubt this will happen given the partisan divisions seen, and power stolen by the Republicans.

Sadly,it will take a catastrophic shock to effect any change to the pay to play system we live under due to stolen elections .

At least in California, the Democrats have protected our sacred right to vote.

Mt. Ranch Measure C
Posted on: 2017-08-24 09:19:13   By: Anonymous

The Election web site has the information. It is Measure C and is for an increase in the annual fee to support emergency services, probably mostly fire. Raises annual fee for property owners from $65 to $75 per year.

      GOP Voting Discrimination
Posted on: 2017-08-24 10:20:33   By: Anonymous

One example- Indiana Pense must be proud.

State and local Republicans have expanded early voting in GOP-dominated areas and restricted it in Democratic areas, an IndyStar investigation has found, prompting a significant change in Central Indiana voting patterns.

From 2008 to 2016, GOP officials expanded early voting stations in Republican dominated Hamilton County, IndyStar's analysis found, and decreased them in the state's biggest Democratic hotbed, Marion County.
