We Did It! America Created 1 Million Jobs in Trump’s First Six Months
by JOHN CARNEY 4 Aug 2017

The American economy has added more than one million jobs since President Donald Trump took office.

Defying expectations that job creation would slump this year, America has added more than 200,000 jobs in four out of Trump’s six months in office. That brought the total number of jobs created since the start of February to 1.07 million.
On average, the economy created 179,000 jobs in each of the first six months of Trump’s presidency.

The unemployment rate has fallen to 4.3 percent, a level that many economists consider near full employment.

The Trump administration is pressing forward on tax cuts and regulatory reform, efforts which might also bolster jobs creation.

The Republican Party sent out this tweet to celebrate the landmark.
1 million new jobs in 6 months
      209k new jobs in July
Unemployment rate at 16 yr low
      Thanks, @POTUS!
      11:02 AM - Aug 4, 2017

America and Americans just keep winning!
Making America Great Again, Thanks President Trump.

PROMISES MADE AND KEPT SO FAR: This does not reflect the most recent accomplishments in the last 4 months.

Campaign Promise 1: To replace Antonin Scalia with a like-minded justice from a list of 20. Trump replaced Antonin Scalia with Neil Gorsuch, an incredibly qualified and Constitution-abiding justice.

Campaign Promise 2: To suspend immigration from terror-prone countries
Trump has successfully enacted a Travel Ban that is 100% CONSTITUTIONAL AND is made from the seven (six, now) "countries of concern" outlined by the Obama Administration. This ban is part of President Trump's promise to keep every citizen of the United States safe from radical Islamic terrorism.

Campaign Promise 3: To defund and crack down on sanctuary cities
Trump has implemented a YUGE crackdown on sanctuary cities, threatening to defund them.
        - Attorney General Sessions has stated that he is not messing around when it comes to sanctuary cities, and continues in the fight against cities that harbor criminal illegal aliens.

Thanks President Trump for Keeping Your Promises.

Under Trump, gains against ISIS have ‘dramatically accelerated’
WaPo- By Karen DeYoung August 4 at 7:50 PM

Nearly a third of territory reclaimed from the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria since 2014 has been won in the past six months, due to new policies adopted by the Trump administration, a senior State Department official said Friday.

Brett McGurk, the State Department’s senior envoy to the anti-Islamic State coalition, said that steps President Trump has taken, including delegating decision-making authority down from the White House to commanders in the field, have “dramatically accelerated” gains against the militants.

Combined Islamic State losses in both countries since the group’s peak control in early 2015 total about 27,000 square miles of territory — 78 percent of militant holdings in Iraq and 58 percent in Syria. About 8,000 square miles have been reclaimed under Trump, McGurk said in a briefing for reporters.

"Muslim and Mosque Attacks have increased under Trump"?

You are either very gullible or very dishonest. The rate of attacks on Muslims and Mosques has been on a multi-year upswing thanks to Obama's efforts to divide this nation and suppress Christianity. Obama had been doing everything he could to cause social unrest, violence and division among Americans, these things don't just start happening in six months.
There is no acceleration under Trump. Trump has done nothing to bring any more contempt on Muslims.

Hate groups and attacks on minority groups especially Muslims have increased since 9-11. They increased more due to the racist hated of the Obama presidency. However, since 2015 and immediately after Trumps election those attacks have spiked dramatically. The rise of hate groups and attacks have tripled since Trumps candidacy and election. The facts are readily available from a variety of credible sources ( which will likely be decried by some as fake news) simply by googling " muslim attacks since trump.

The largest spike of hate crimes was immediately after 9-11. then from 20002 to 2014 the number dropped. Then in 2015 till present their was a new spike. These facts were recognized by law enforcement and congressional investigations. In the absents of any other reasonable explanation, most observers attribute this to trumps hateful rhetoric.

Here is a graph and chart on job creation per month.

                https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/CES0000000001?output_view=net_1mth

Notice Obama has many months with greater job creation than Trump's best months (which are still preliminary). In March Trump increased jobs only by 50,000. Very Sad.

But trump did tell the Russians more secrets than Obama ever did. And Trump greatly admires Putin. Maybe we just misunderstood Trump. Was the slogan "Make Russia Great Again"? Now that's an area where Trump really has excelled.

I'm a democrat, and this guy is a piece....of work, that's for sure. He's a brash, egotistical jerk, the Mouth That roared, a school yard bully that runs when he's confronted. But I'd rather have Trump in the White House then the Clinton family.
It seems the loser Hillary lied one too many times to the American people. We all know we ph-ucked up when we wanted her, of all people, to run for the presidency. Hillary is the most corrupt politician in America, and most democrats know this to be the truth. So sadly, this is who we have for the next four years. We have the Democratic Party and Hillary to blame for our failure to have a responsible and (is it possible?) honest representative to our party.
Maybe next time we can come up with a worthy opponent, one who doesn't lie to the American peoples face.
The real question is, Are you happy now?

Hillary has been investigated by Republican committees in every way they could imagine. Those Republican investigations, carried out with the full force of the US government over many years, uncovered no corruption and no lies beyond the white ones all politicians tell. The current Trump investigations are nothing compared to what Hillary has put up with. Trump should quit whining and girl-up (i.e., be stoic like Hillary).

If you want to trash Hillary, do it on the basis of things that are true. She exercised poor judgment in using a private e-mail server and also poor judgment in taking huge speaking fees from Wall Street firms. Neither of those things is nearly as bad as things Trump has done, but the media with the help of Russian bots kept those Hillary stories in front of enough gullible voters to cost Hillary several states she should have won.

What you are overlooking is that Hillary understands government and policy and can explain her positions in great detail. She was 100 % qualified to be President and would have moved this country forward, not backward as Trump is trying to do. She also had a reputation for working in a bipartisan manner when she was a senator. Trump has not made the smallest effort to do anything in a bipartisan manner.

Any fair examination of the record will show that it is Trump who is the proven liar and crook. Pay attention.

The Donald and BIG talk.
I want to know what manufacturers are building plants in places like Ohio. And if that is actually happening, when did these corps make this decision . . . in the last 6 months or was it in the works for the last 2 years (which is more likely) and his admin has NOTHING to do with it.
I want to know how changing the immigration system helps America. Statistically, the immigrants who have come here to work on a family based connection have contributed increasingly starting in year 2 of the residency. It has been tracked . . . but The Donald only tells what suits his purposes, not all the facts. You bring in those with technical skills and they will take the high paying jobs away from our own college graduates. What will be left are the jobs Americans won't take because they are low paying and hard work. Just ask the people who hire the immigrant population of today.

Trump is a part of the problem with the Federal government as a whole: self-surviving individuals telling only what will sway people to their position. Few state the full facts and truth.

Too bad we don't have John McCain as our president. Our country and the world would be in a much better place overall of we had voted in a man of his integrity. Instead we've got this blow hard, arrogant, self-serving, rich boy who still believes "I can fool most of the people all of the time."

Several Republican politicians are making the rounds of events in different states testing the waters for a future run for President. They see two things happening. Trump will either quit or be removed from office, or he will be challenged in the next GOP primaries. There will be many challengers to Trump if he miraculously survives a first term.

It appears for some- those who cannot see an ill person in front of them, what they say, and do, and lie, lie, lie, it shows those who do know an ill person when they listen watch them, the POTUS is an ill hollow shell of a man.

It's too bad some are easily conned, these people are the marks cons use, there are enough for them to be able to pull off their con job.

The president exhibits clinical narcissism, he is obsessed with looking good, it is so important to him , he has a poor self image from his illness. He pays people to tell him he is the best. He has made many statement he is the greatest in many characteristics.
He is delusional, and has no empathy for others, it's only about him, another clinical sign he is ill.

He has played some, but not enough. His daily efforts to redirect the focus from him to H Clinton is another sign of a guilty person . He is constantly calling Mueller's investigation a witch hunt, any innocent person would not be so afraid of having facts brought to the public.

The Republicans don't trust him , why Senator Murkowski called for pro forma sessions to keep the Senate operating, this after Ryan Zinke tried to extort Murkowski
    and Alaska'a oil .

There is much evidence of many laws broken by the president, it will be listed by the many grand juries impaneled by the special prosecutor.

Our election system has been perverted by the Republicans, this is how the nightmare started. They knew in a close election the fix was in , 7 million legal voters denied their vote- NBC has reported. Out of this fraudulent election came Republican Congressmen, Senators, Governors , legislatures , laws , all by denying legal voters their right to vote.

America is at a crossroad , either we save our Democracy, thru election reforms, or continue with the pay to play oligarchy we have now.

The importance of the special prosecutor is not the many laws broken by Trump , but from this sunshine shown on how corrupt America has become, we can begin to restore our Democracy, taking it back from the $Billionaires who now own our State governments, Congress, Supreme Court, and Presidency .

one is: He said he knows Putin, they got along well, they were in the panel room together before a talk show. A couple of months later he said 'I DON'T KNOW PUTIN, NEVER MET HIM, NEVER TALKED TO HIM

The man is either a shameless liar or actually nuts, well, maybe both.

Don't like Donald, get a job and pay your dues, you just might be surprised at the rewards. Toughen up and, if we don't get a handle on North Korea, this is all spoken in vein. Parallel universe there.
The human perspective is a curious thing.
      Take our illegitimate president.
He maybe indicted for money laundering, collusion with the Russians to affect our elections, knowledge of hacking our voting machines, the Grand Juries will see the evidence and decide.
Obama closed the Russian spy headquarters from the intel he received.
Yet some tRump cult members still under his spell can't see anything but what Fox, hate radio, and lies from the ill man himself , and believe it.
It's all faith based. This is why the Evangelicals offer their brain washed crowd to tRump. They are so easily conned , blind belief just add tRump to it, no matter how objectionable he is morally. That's a sad commentary on them.

Just can't stop lying, can you?

"The average infantryman in Vietnam saw about 240 days of combat in one year thanks to the mobility of the helicopter."

        https://www.uswings.com/about-us-wings/vietnam-war-facts/

And that's the highest number I've found. I assume it reflects time in combat or in a situation that might lead to combat. Time not well back from the front lines and on R&R. Several veterans' blogs said the actual days of real combat (two way fire fight, exposed to shelling) were much lower.

I respect those who served, especially in a miserable war like Vietnam. If you did serve, don't lie about it.

Trump has no respect for the military. Remember him bragging that he knows more than the generals. Or saying John McCain was not a hero. Or disrespecting H.R. McMaster, who is a genuine combat hero and strategic thinker.

And no one lied about Benghazi. All reported what US intelligence was telling them right before they spoke.

You might be thinking of Bush, Cheney, Condi Rice, and company who definitely LIED about WMD in Iraq.

    Lying, crooked Republicans.

In 2012 a bi partisan vote of congress and the president passed the Magnitsky Act that was designed to prevent Russia and international mobs from laundering money in the US.

Trump tried like hell to lift it. He failed. Again, bipartisan legislation stopped it. Trump now cannot lift sanctions on Russia without congressional approval.
