Calaveras County Business People Were Mixing and Mingling Thursday Night!
San Andreas, CA...The monthly Calaveras Chamber of Commerce Mixer held at Mark Twain St. Josephs Hospital was a success tonight. Business people from all over the area attended this popular monthly event. Incoming CAO Robert C. Lawton, most of the County Supervisors, and various County Department Heads and County Staff attended as well as many local business people like Darrell Slocum of Golden State Cellular, Mike and Diane Fullaway of Calaveras Lumber, Kathy Mazzaferro, Jim Bailey, Scott Bur of Stark Realty and more....
The place was packed. There were local wines, scrumptious hor'dourves to munch and plenty of people to chat with.
Business Development in Calaveras County seemed to be the hot topic. There seems to be a consensus building in the county to make a push to bring high tech jobs to the county. Calaveras County has a great draw from a quality of life perspective and would be a perfect location for up and coming firms to grow.
Inspite of economic challenges locally everyone seemed bullish on the county's future.
