Planned CCWD Water Outage in Arnold: Friday June 23
Arnold, CA...There will be a planned water outage from 9 a.m. to noon Friday June 23 in Arnold. This service disruption will impact all residential CCWD customers on Fir Street, Dunbar Road and Linebaugh Road. It will also impact Ebbetts Pass Gas, Chevron and Arnold Ace Home Center. Reach 3A Project Construction Schedule
June 20-23: Crews will continue testing the section of pipe recently installed on Dunbar Road between Fir Street and Blagen Road. Traffic control may be in effect during this work.
June 26-30: Crews will tie the new section of 12-inch pipeline on Dunbar Road into the water distribution system on June 26. Between June 27 and June 30, crews will begin trenching and installing pipe along Blagen Road starting at its intersection with Highway 4 and heading northeast. This work will require a full closure of Blagen Road between Highway 4 and Henry Street. One-way traffic control will be in effect one crews move past Henry Street and are working toward the vet clinic.
Project summary
As of June 14, T&S Construction had replaced about 16,000 feet of pipeline and another 3,000 feet remain, and the project is about 85 percent finished. The remaining portions of pipeline that need to be replaced are from Pine Drive through Oak Court to Sequoia Street, and from Fir Street to Dunbar Road and along Blagen Road from it’s intersection with Highway 4 to near the Arnold Library. Substantial completion of the project is expected in August 2017.
