Major Injures In DUI High Speed Crash On Independence Road

West Point, CA...Christoper Lane was driving westbound on Independence Road at a high rate of speed. Noah Tidwell was a passenger in the back seat. As Lane came to a curve to his left, he lost control of his vehicle and allowed it to run off the roadway where it traveled through two wire fences then collided with a large pine tree before coming to a stop. Lane was wearing a seatbelt but suffered major injuries and was taken by air ambulance to Modesto Memorial Hospital for treatment. Tidwell was not wearing a seatbelt and also suffered mojor injuries and was also taken to Modesto Memorial for treatment.

Lane was arrested for driving under the influence including causing injury to another.

Out of towners at 1 am and high rate of speed. Think maybe they needed another beer before the Pines closed

There should be laws against this sort of thing.

There should be stronger things in place to prevent this. You know those things.

There's new laws that lowered efficiency/power/coverage of those things because they operate on a 3rd or 4th harmonic of what NORAD uses, so it interferes with Beale A.F.B & our early-warning system.

That alcohol sure is fun. Get plowed, hammered, intoxicated, whatever you want to call it and get in your vehicle and maybe kill someone because you're fine, you only had a couple....TOO MANY. Please, we have enough drunks killing others, call a taxi.
We here like people coming up and tasting our wine, you really don't need to drink the whole bottle, but if you must have someone else drive. And for goodness sake if you're going to get a good heater on, please secure our wine if you're going to drive away drunk.
Thank you
