Jamestown Native Serves Aboard USS Ronald Reagan In Japan

YOKOSUKA, Japan (May 4, 2017) Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Fuel) 3rd Class (AW) Jordet James, from Jamestown, California, replaces an amphenol stud on a hose reel aboard the Navy's forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). An amphenol stud is used to ensure electrical continuity between the hose reel and ship's power. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
