They will. We'll lose millions in tax dollars but we can find another way to get some of it back. I mean is it worth to have marijuana in our community...oh wait, we have always had it here, it was just illegal and we didn't get those tax dollars. mmm, well anyway, with the amount of drunk drivers on the road, we don't need those hoodlums driving around stoned ....oh wait, they always have. What's worse a drunk or a stoner? A loud mouth obnoxious drunk person, or a quiet, peaceful, stoner....I'm not making a good example here. Ah... the marijuana industry brings in criminals, this is true folks. Alcohol ....oh, the drunk who's a loud mouth, obnoxious slob isn't exactly a stand up kind of guy either, as we have all seen during one of our towns celebration revolving around drinking either.
Oh well, ban marijuana, and make those criminals go under ground again. That way we can't keep and eye on them and supervise their grows, chemical use and not collect the millions in tax dollars.
We should raise taxes now on property owners, maybe $100 a month, more then 5 acres $150 a month, 100 acres $250 a month, someone who grows grapes $200 an acre. I'm a property owner, it's good for me. Make people who contribute to 1,000's of deaths a year should be taxed for the deaths their product causes.
Have a wonderful day, we're here only a short time, enjoy it while you can.

Ban commercial grows, period. Then arrest and seize personal and real property when illegal grows are discovered and sell their crap to recover some of the expense. Fine them as well, probably won't collect much but that alone may drive the dealers away. It will be a crime once banned and if the county does not enforce the law bring in the Fed's to help. This county has declined, not improved with all of the grows and new people around.

I had a run-in with a admitted pot smoker on Saturday, he was one non-productive citizen and a mental wreck. Said he couldn't keep a job, often slept in his car, lost his wife and kid's and blamed everything on somebody else (actually that sound more like a meth freak), anyway, we don't need our kids having such easy access to this gateway drug. This guy was 50 years old but looked like he was 20 years older, such a waste. Said he smoked it all his life, nice.
