Bear Valley in the 21st Century With Tesla Chargers Now Available! ~ By Joel Barnett
Bear Valley, CA...The Bear Valley Business Association has recently installed Tesla chargers at the BV Lodge. These are free to use for any Tesla driver, compliments of the BVBA. In addition, in conjunction with Skyline Resorts, BVBA embarked on wiring the entire Village for public free WiFi. This in now running in a limited capacity and should provide high speed broadband in all public areas of Bear Valley, including up at the ski area, by early summer.
Now, The BVBA is in pursuit of installing public non-Tesla electric car chargers to be located at the BV gas station. With some luck this project will be completed by July 2017.
Seeing plum and cherry trees in blossom in the Bay Area, I understand when my friends ask me "do you still have any snow?" Their thoughts have already turned to golf, tennis, windsurfing and gardening. We still have at least a 10 foot base. The ski area has full coverage on even the steepest runs, with no rocks or shrubs poking through. Spring 2017 will go down as one of the best spring skiing seasons of all times. So come to BV and experience great conditions with absolutely no crowds. The cross country ski area closes April 16th. Downhill ski area closes April 23rd.
